There was a time in the history of humanity when their world was in peril. The world had lost its bearing and was unhinged.Everyone did whatever seemed right and pleasurable in their eyes. The order of the day consisted of killing, stealing, raping, lying, misrepresenting the truth, and various fraudulent activities. However, there was a man called Noah, he and his family were the only ones that stood out from all other families.Scripture says the eyes of the Lord watched all the works of humanity. The Lord looked at the world, and He was unhappy. He felt betrayed and disappointed that no one in the whole world was doing anything good except Noah and his family. The Lord decided to destroy the world and all its creatures by flooding the earth.
“And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, beast, creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them. But Noah foundu grace in the eyes of the LORD.” (Genesis6:7-8)
He instructed Noah to construct a ship called an Ark. The Ark Noah was to build was a massive one that could contain all the animals that God would send, his family, and whosoever decided to listen to Noah's warning of the impending judgment and get in the Ark with him. Noah tried to convince as many of his neighbors to come into the Ark with him to no avail. Instead, they began mocking him for constructing an Ark in the middle of high ground, where there was no large body of water nearby. They never believed there would be enough rain to flood the whole world. To their surprise, the flood came! and the whole world perished except for Noah’s family and all other creatures on the Ark with them.
Today’s world is reflective of the atrocities committed in the days of Noah; the world is in peril. Instead of being destroyed by flood, it will be consumed by fire.
“Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:6-7)
An Ark is being made available to all who heed the warning signs and get in the Ark today. Anytime now, the world could be on fire; only those in the Ark will survive. Every minute you procrastinate getting saved constitutes a risk of perishing with the world. The good news is Jesus is the Ark! you must run to him now if you do not want to perish with the world. The end is near. It came suddenly in Noah’s time, and it will happen suddenly in this present time also. “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. When they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” – 1 Thessalonians 5: 2-3
In Noah’s time, they did not have any history of such an occurrence to learn from. They died of their ignorance and unbelief. What will be your excuse today? No good deed could save you if you missed this Ark, and no excuses would suffice from damnation. An unsaved person will die and go to HELL forever and ever.
Apostle Peter warns us this way:
“…the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which, the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”- 2 Peter 3:10
How to get into the Ark
1. Admit you are a sinner,
2. Confess your sins, renounce them, and repent of them all sincerely
3. Ask God for forgiveness, accept it by faith
4. Acknowledge Jesus as the begotten Son of God and ask Him to come into your heart.
5. Pledge your allegiance to Him as your Lord and Savior
6. Determine and begin to live by His rules
7. You are in the Ark-
Please read Romans 10: 9-13.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, andconfession is made unto salvation with the mouth.
11. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12. There is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. -Roman 10:9-13
Prayer
Thou God the creator of the heavens and the earth, I thank you for allowing me to realize how sinful and wretched I have been: I humbly confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of all my sins; Irenounce them. Please forgive me. I acknowledge Jesus Christ as your only-begotten Son, and I believe He died on the cross of calvary, buried and rose again on the third day.
I accept Him as my Lord and savior, and I yield my life to Him to begin to live His life through mine on earth from this moment onward. Bless me with revelation and the understanding of His fellowship. Grant me the grace to be steadfast in obeying your commandment in the name of Jesus Amen.
