You shall Prevail!

By Pastor Rachael Saibu, Co-Founder/ Senior Pastor at TCOLG

King Hezekiah was the King of Judah who trusted and held fast to the Lord. The Lord was with him and prospered him wherever he went. There came a time in the life of King Hezekiah when the king of Assyria besieged the city of Judah and threatened to attack it (2 kings 18-19). King Hezekiah did everything within his power to appease his enemy, the king of Assyria but the more he tried, the more the enemy continued to threaten him, wax stronger and stronger against him. The king of Assyria even boasted against the living God that He would not be able to deliver them from his hand. King Hezekiah realized that this situation was hopeless and beyond his ability to resolve. However, he trusted in the Lord to deliver him so he sought the Lord in prayer.

Sometimes our life situations resemble the challenges faced by King Hezekiah. These situations may leave us feelIng helpless, worried and paralyzed by fear at what the outcome may be. During challenging times when you have done all you can, and it seems nothing is working and the situation is not changing as expected, it can be very frustrating. King Hezekiah had no choice but to turn to God for help. He prayed to God to save him from the hand of his enemy. This is the message God sent to king Hezekiah and the same message I am giving to you right now. God said, “I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake” (2 Kings 19:34). God also said, "I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria" (Isaiah 38:6). God fought for King Hezekiah and defeated the King of Assyria. So shall God defend you, deliver you and save you from every situation you are going through right now in Jesus name.

This unprecedented and challenging time is just for a season, it will soon pass away. The same way you have had problems in the past and you have overcome them. In this one you are going through, God will help you and you shall prevail coming out better and stronger. God will continue to make you an overcomer in Jesus name. As you call on the name of the Lord, trust in Him for a solution, He will surely defend you and deliver you. Remember that, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). Even if it is a health or spiritual problem, no matter how terrible it may be, our God is bigger, stronger, greater and mightier than it. No sickness even death can stand against Him. God said that He will certainly heal you, give you an abundance of peace (Jeremiah 33:6) and you shall not die. Your days in the land of the living, you will fulfil. Call on God today and trust in Him for your healing. He will surely answer you. I see things turning around for your good. I see you rising out of that bed. I see you getting on your feet doing great things in life and fulfilling your destiny.

Don’t be terrified by people, situations or circumstances. God is telling you right now to "Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you” (Isaiah 52:1). God is bringing an end to whatever you are going through right now and this time, is your time of rejoicing in Jesus name. The problems you are facing right now will not come back again in Jesus name. God will destroy the stronghold and the power behind whatever you are going through and give you peace. Don’t be afraid of their faces. Be strong and listen to what God is telling you, “Do not be terrified by them, for the Lord your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God” (Deut. 7:21 NIV). My brothers and sister, God is standing right beside you now to help you. God is telling you at this hour, even though they may “fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you, says the Lord to deliver you." (Jerem.1:17-19). Behold God has made you on this day by His power and His might a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze wall against anything that is against you. By God’s grace whatsoever you or your love ones may be going through, you will all overcome. With God on your side, the enemy like the King of Assyria, will be defeated and you shall prevail. Everything you are going through, God knows about it and it shall end up to the praise of God.

Stop thinking negatively. Stop fearing the enemy and whatever that enemy may represent in your life. Trust your Heavenly Father to meet that need for you. Don’t doubt His love for you or His ability to do the impossible for you. You are not defeated and it is not over until God says it is over. God has the final say over your life. Is your financial problem a threat to you? God will take care of it and make a way for you. Are you going through family problems? or problems at work? I am telling you as you are reading this, God is intervening and resolving those problems right now. The accommodations and the job you are looking for, God will provide it for you in Jesus name. Are you afraid because of your immigration status? Things shall go well with you and you shall get your papers in Jesus name. Are you going through warfare? or post traumatic stress disorder, bad dreams and panic attack? God will destroy the forces behind it, remove all the manifesting symptoms and give you peace in Jesus name. Arise on this day! be courageous, be strong and trust more in the Lord. Don’t give up! you will prevail. Hard time never last, but strong people always last. God is speaking to you today to be strong, you shall overcome and you shall prevail.

Brothers and sisters, God is working on your case right now and it will be like a dream when the miracles begin to manifest in your life in Jesus name. I see you in the light of God. I see God raising His army to fight your battle and bringing your wars to an end. I see God breaking every yoke and cutting asunder every spear of your enemy. He burns the chariot of your enemy in the fire saying to you, be still, and know that I am God. The LORD of hosts is with you; The God of Jacob is your refuge (Psalm 46:9-11). I see you high and lifted up with joy unspeakable filling your heart. I see laughter in your mouth right now, I see praises of God on your lips. I see God raising help for you and arranging divine provisions for you right now. Be encouraged and be strong! God is watching over you to fulfil His plan for your life. Thank God for what He is doing for you right now and give Him praise because He has done it in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayers

Father God, I thank you for my brothers and sisters reading this right now. Lord let them feel your presence and your mighty arms around them comforting and encouraging them. Let them know that you love and care for them. Lord let them see you fighting their battles and bringing their wars to an end. Open their eyes to see how you are helping them and resolving all those problems. Lord give them victory! Bless them, protect them and their household especially during this pandemic. Lord let them have the assurance that you are with them and that they are not alone. Let them know that they are not losing but prevailing. Lord I thank you because you have done it in Jesus name. Amen.
